This medicine is used in the treatment of complicated urinary tract infections caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci, or Klebsiella pneumoniae.

• Urethritis

This medicine is used in the treatment of Nongonococcal urethritis, which is an inflammation of the urethra, caused by Chlamydia trachomatis as well as in the treatment of a mixed infection of the urethra and cervix caused by Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

• Skin and Structure Infection

This medicine is used in the treatment of Skin and Structure infections such as cellulitis, wound infection, and cutaneous abscess caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus.

• Pneumonia

This medicine is used in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia which is the most common type of lung infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae.

• Bronchitis

This medicine is used in the treatment of bronchitis which is an inflammation of the lining of the bronchial tubes caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, Haemophilus influenzae, or some Mycoplasma pneumoniae.
