• Bacteremia

Gentamicin-N 80 MG Injection is used in the treatment of bacteremia which is an infection of the blood caused by Staphylococci and Streptococcus pyogenes.

• Intraabdominal Infection

Gentamicin-N 80 MG Injection is used in the treatment of intra-abdominal infections caused by Helicobacter pylori, Staphylococci and Streptococci.

• Bacterial Meningitis

Gentamicin-N 80 MG Injection is used in the treatment of meningitis, which is an inflammation of the protective membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord, caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae and Neisseria meningitidis.

• Osteomyelitis

Gentamicin-N 80 MG Injection is used in the treatment of bone and joint infections like Osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococci and Streptococci species.

• Skin and Soft tissue infections

Gentamicin-N 80 MG Injection is used to treat skin and soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pyogenes.

• Pyelonephriits

Gentamicin-N 80 MG Injection is used in the treatment of Pyelonephritis which is a type of kidney infection caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Dosage is adjusted for patients with renal impairment to minimise the risk of toxicity. The first dose should be as normal - after this, doses should be given less frequently, the interval being determined by results of renal function tests as below:
